Private House Morrocoy Parque Nacional Morrocoy, Estado Falcon, Venezuela Project 2008
An existing house was remodelled and converted into a retreat house in the National Park of Morrocoy on the estate of Falcon Venezuela. The house had an unstable foundation and a supporting wall was required in order to remedy this problem. The construction of this new wall also allowed for the addition a hot tub/ jacuzzi within the house. A veranda was added to the structure of the existing property, enabling views to the north which in this location offered the coolest and most shaded orientation. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms were laid out on the top floor, and the kitchen was sited on the lower level, serving the communal areas and the pool.
