Private Residential Refurbishment Southey Road, London, UK Completed 2013

The brief for this project was to create a contemporary, ultra-modern, minimalist loft apartment, with a real WOW factor, with a feature staircase, maximise natural light to include a home office area. The building in which this flat is located is a Free-standing, Wren revival building situated in the corner of Southey Road and Pelham Road in the London Borough of Merton. Downing House was the former Pelham High school. Circa 1900. Brick with stone dressings; tiled hipped roof to eaves, modillion cornice, central cupula and some decorative carving. A tower to the north with stepped top and cupola which is one of its main features.
