Private Residential Refurbishment Southey Road, London, UK

For this project, the client's brief was to create a stunning, contemporary loft apartment with a minimalist design and a striking feature staircase, as well as a home office area with plenty of natural light. The apartment is located in Downing House, a Wren revival building at the corner of Southey Road and Pelham Road in the London Borough of Merton. Originally built in the early 1900s as Pelham High School, the building features a brick exterior with stone dressings, a tiled hipped roof with a modillion cornice, and a central cupola. One of its standout features is a tower on the north side with a stepped top and cupola.
